RHS Harlow Carr

The Royal Horticultural Society has four gardens around the UK, and we are fortunate to live near one of them. We made our first visit during a very warm and sunny afternoon the weekend before Easter.

Our first stop upon arrival was Betty's Tea Room for lunch. I didn't take any food pictures, but we had a nice meal, and the kids picked out a biscuit to take away afterward.

Then we headed off to explore.

For Easter, they had a scavenger hunt for the kids. They hid 6 gold bunnies across the park, and at each location you found the answer to a question on your card. After answering all of the questions, you got a small chocolate bunny near the exit. The kids had a great time looking for clues, and it helped us see most of the gardens.

It's so nice having such a beautiful location close enough to visit regularly. I'm looking forward to going back and seeing what we missed the first time!
