Bounce

A few months ago, I received a flyer in the mail advertising a new exercise class in town, and it looked like great fun. I went with a friend, and I was immediately hooked. The two of us have been attending regularly on Wednesday mornings (when the kids are in school), and I'm hoping they increase available workout times soon.

The class is called Bounce, and it's an hour long mini-trampoline workout.

It's a tough workout, but also loads of fun and easy on the knees. And at least in our location, the atmosphere is laid back and non-competitive. Everyone just works the hardest they can.

I've never really stuck with an exercise class this long. It helps to have a friend there to keep me accountable, and jumping on a trampoline isn't a typical boring workout. It starts with about 45 minutes of cardio, then we do some ab work and sometimes arm toning before a nice stretch at the end. There are a few clips of what we do on the regional Facebook page if you want to check it out.

Ready to sweat
I have to admit that another reason I love the class so much is having an early post-workout lunch at Betty's. I do typically try to keep it healthy with avocado toast or eggs.

And I can usually keep myself from the sweet counter on the way out. Just look at these cakes and desserts, though.

Anyway, I am starting to notice an increase in my endurance, and I can definitely feel it when I've missed a week (or three like over Christmas holidays). I don't do New Years resolutions, but I'm set on sticking with this for a while.
