September kicked off with our first visit from my parents since before Covid. While in the UK, we visited Skipton Castle and did a lot of catching up! My parents were excited to see our new house, and just to spend time with all of us. I didn't keep notes, as I just wanted to soak up the whole visit, so here are some pics.

While my parents were flying in to see us, the Queen passed away. It was sad timing, and we saw tributes to her in different places. People left flowers in front of this church in Skipton.
We weren't in the UK very long after the Queen's death, so we didn't experience the funeral and the ceremony surrounding the death of a monarch. We did get to all travel to a new (to us) place though.
