Adios, Mallorca

We had to wake up at 4am to catch the shuttle to the airport. Luckily, the hotel puts out a small early breakfast for this, so we ate and then stood outside waiting for the bus.

The mosquitoes were out and biting, and Clara was very cranky. As soon as the bus left, she fell asleep on Lily's shoulder.

At the airport, we got through security really quickly, and still had 2 hours until our flight. Of course, the kids were already hungry again, so we had Burger King. The flight was relaxed and we made it home safely.

The kids' favourite parts of the trip:

Miles- free food, having fun with family, and the swirly water slide

Lily- being with family, learning to swim like a mermaid, and finding her souvenir

Clara- getting Kissy Missy (a stuffed toy), the bouncy castle and playground, and swimming on her own with floaties

It was a very different holiday than we usually take, but it was relaxing and much needed. I wouldn't mind doing another all-inclusive, but I do enjoy our city breaks as well.

Lastly, here is the piece of art Matt and I chose for our souvenir.
