Clara wakes us up, telling us that she got a little bit sick in her bed. Matt goes to check the mess (it was more than a little bit) while I deal with Clara vomiting in the bathroom. She doesn't have a fever, so I'm hoping it's just a combination of sun, fun, and too much sugar. Matt takes the older kids down to breakfast, and then I go on my own after.
I hang out while Clara watches CBeebies, and Matt takes the older kids to the water park next door. Miles and Lily love it, and eagerly tell me all about it when they get back.
By lunch time, Clara is feeling a bit brighter, and ready to eat something. However, when we get to the restaurant, Miles starts dragging. He eats a few noodles and some juice, and asks to go back to the room.
Clara is feeling tired again, so Matt takes a turn hanging with her and Miles. Lily and I take a bus to the beach. We splash our feet in the sea, and collect shells to bring home.
When we get back to the resort, we find that Miles had taken a little nap (that never happens). Clara is peppy and ready to swim, so Matt takes the girls to the pool. I hang out with Miles in the room and watch A Place in the Sun. It's a house hunting show where people look for holiday homes- and this episode is a woman looking for a Spanish beach house.
Matt comes back to get everyone ready for dinner. It's Mexican night, and we don't have high hopes, but they do have the closest thing to nacho cheese we've seen in Europe. Miles feels well enough for nachos and one dessert, and Clara has a super wobbly tooth.
Our resort has an evening market by the lake- it happens every night but we hadn't seen it yet. Matt and I make a quick trip with Lily, and browse the few stalls before heading back. We pack to leave the next day and get to bed.
